Mike Guiry
Michael Guiry is the Director of the AlgaeBase project. He is a graduate of University College Cork and the University of London and has carried out research at the University of Portsmouth in England, the University of Melbourne in Australia, and St Fancis Xavier University in Canada. His professional interests are in algal databasing, taxonomy and systematics, and in the sustainable use of seaweed resources worldwide. http://www.seaweed.ie/guiry/default.lasso.
Wendy Guiry
Wendy Guiry is a Research Assistant on the AlgaeBase project. A graduate of University College, Cork, she has taught in London, and has been a Research Assistant at NUI, Galway since 1982.
Sandy Lawson
Sandy is an Administrative Assistant at the National University of Ireland Galway. She has been involved with the AlgaeBase project since its inception and has dealt with the financial accounting on all projects associated with it.
